Lifestyle Related Diseases Caused by Chronic Inflammation

The short answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!

Let me start off by saying I wrote this blog knowing that the majority of people who started reading this blog would not finish it let alone actually utilize the information contained within it. Frustrating as it is, I already know going into this that I can’t change that fact. What I also know is that someone out there has hit their rock bottom and they are desperately searching for answers/help. This blog was written for that person…

As a health professional of 14 years what I love more than anything is helping my clients restore their health! Yes helping people lose weight and build muscle is always nice. Watching my clients increase their level of physical fitness is also great. But more than anything, what I love the most is seeing them achieve a total health transformation!

Earlier this year I created a new nutrition plan called the “SOF 31 Day Rapid Weight Loss Diet”. Now, I normally teach my clients to take the slow and steady approach to weight loss but we were running a promotion and I needed to create a diet designed for quick weight loss.  However, the diet is also designed to improve our client’s health by providing them with nutritious food that also reduce inflammation. Rather than just focusing on weight loss we really wanted our clients to focus on living a healthy lifestyle that was conducive to weight loss.

The nutrition plan is producing amazing results and I couldn’t be happier. Many of our clients lost a ton of weight but more importantly they drastically improved their health and wellbeing. We’ve had clients struggling with all sorts of health issues that just went away after they started doing the diet. From acid reflux, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, sleep apnea, anxiety, depression, skin rashes and the list goes on. I keep hearing all these amazing stories of our clients health being restored and improved and nothing could make me happier. Yes weight loss is great but seeing people no longer struggle with health issues is much more rewarding for me.

So what about this new diet made such a big difference for our clients. There were a lot of factors at play but the anti-inflammation aspect of the diet is what made the biggest difference. Yes we focused on rapid weight loss but we were also focused on living a truly healthy lifestyle and that is what made all the difference. I’m sharing this with you because I want you to experience a health transformation as well. This stuff really works so listen up and act accordingly my friends. Life is short, please don’t put your health off another moment!

Acute inflammation is part of our natural healing process, but long-term or chronic inflammation can cause serious health issues overtime. Eliminating foods that could be causing inflammation in your body can make a huge difference in your overall health and wellbeing. Certain lifestyle changes can and will also make an powerful impact on your health.

Why is decreasing inflammation so important? Well, for starters, chronic inflammation is the primary cause of most modern diseases in the western part of the world. Now think about that for a second. If you want to remarkably increase your chances of remaining healthy and disease-free, then you without question need to be living a lifestyle that is conducive to reducing chronic inflammation as much as possible. Let’s look at the average American, for example, who has a stressful life, doesn’t eat healthy or exercise, and on top of that, doesn’t get enough sleep. That is a recipe for a health disaster. No wonder as country we struggle with so many health issues. People in America are dying needless deaths every day by the thousands. Sadly enough, most of these untimely death could be prevented.

So what causes chronic inflammation? There are numerous causes but we can narrow it down to the 5 main culprits. First and foremost, not getting enough quality sleep can cause serious inflammation issues. Secondly, not getting enough exercise and physical activity also adds to the problem. In addition, chronic stress at high levels contributes to inflammation. As I am sure you’ve guessed by now, your diet also affects inflammation greatly. Many of the foods included in the Standard American Diet (SAD) are inflammatory, as well. Lastly, having too much body fat causes chronic inflammation. The average American doesn’t get enough sleep and exercise and we are stressed out to the max. In addition we don’t eat healthy and as a result we are overweight. All this adds up to a life riddled with discomfort, disease and ultimately death. That’s the bad news. The good news is this is all within your control which means you have the power to change it and to reclaim your health. The even better news is it doesn’t take nearly as long as you might think to reverse the direction of your health. Start making healthy lifestyle changes now and you will notice positive changes within weeks if not days.

If you’re struggling with health issues then I highly suggest that you immediately start living a healthy lifestyle focused on reducing chronic inflammation. I promise you that it can and most likely will make a huge difference. Admittedly, it may not fix all of your issues but there is a good chance it will help. I’m not a doctor and I’m not suggesting that you forgo professional medical care. What I am suggesting is that living a healthy lifestyle with a focus on reducing inflammation can and often times will make a significant difference for a lot of people struggling with numerous lifestyle related health issues. We are putting this into practice in our gym and as a result I see health transformations happening on a daily basis and it’s nothing short of amazing!

If you want to take control of your health you can start by doing these 4 things:

  1. Make sure you are consistently getting good quality sleep. For most people that means 5 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night.

  1. As best you can, eliminate or reduce constant sources of stress in your life. If you can’t eliminate a source of stress for whatever reason then learn some helpful stress-management-techniques/ skills.

  1. Get your body moving. Start exercising, stretching and being more physically active on a daily basis.

  1. Start eating a healthy diet that includes foods that don’t cause chronic inflammation.
